Referral process- health programs
Enrolment in a health program can be made via a referral from a medical practitioner or mental health professional to the intake officer at Rivendell Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Health Service (CAMHS). For further information please phone 9767 3100 between 9:00am and 5:00pm weekdays.
The following health programs operate at Rivendell School:
Lawson program
The Lawson program caters for high school students (years 7-12) who have been admitted to the Rivendell Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Health Service (CAMHS), managed by the Sydney Local Health District.
Yaralla program
The Yaralla program caters for high school students (years 7-12) who have been admitted to the Rivendell Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Health Service (CAMHS), managed by the Sydney Local Health District.
Placement process - NSW Department of Education programs
Enrolment in a NSW Department of Education program can be made via an access request. For further information please consult with the school counsellor or learning and support team at the student's mainstream/home school.

The following NSW Department of Education programs operate at Rivendell School:
Paterson program
The Paterson program is a NSW Education program catering for students in years 7- 10. Enrolments are considered via an access request application submitted by the learning support team at the student's mainstream/home school.
Sulman program
The Sulman program is a NSW Education program catering for students in years 11- 12. Enrolments are considered via an access request application submitted by the learning support team at the student's mainstream/home school.
Hospital admission
The following programs operate through a hospital admission:
Walker program
The Walker program caters for state wide high school students who have been admitted to the Concord Centre for Mental Health.
Young people are referred by mental health clinicians, psychiatrists or any NSW hospital.
Gna Ka Lun program
The Gna Ka Lun program is a learning centre within the A83 Adolescent Mental Health Unit at Campbelltown Hospital. Young people are referred by mental health practitioners or NSW hospital emergency departments.
Please note: The students remain enrolled at their census school throughout admission.
