World Environment Day at Rivendell School

Rivendell School celebrated World Environment Day with an inspiring day of environmental learning and career exploration. A range of environmental professionals visited the school to share their personal journeys into environmental careers, the diverse pathways available in the sector, and the work they are doing to create a more sustainable future.
Students explored the importance of environmental education and heard how knowledge, curiosity and individual action can contribute to positive environmental change. Our guests also challenged students to consider their own environmental footprint and the practical actions they can take every day to reduce waste, conserve resources and care for our environment.
It was a fantastic opportunity for students to connect classroom learning with real-world careers and see how people from a variety of backgrounds are making a difference for our planet.
