The roles and responsibilities of the SRC are:
● Represent the school maturely and respectfully
● Come up with creative solutions and ideas that benefit the school
● Be an advocate for Rivendell students, explain student opinions, relay suggestions from other peers to staff
● Be a role model
● Feedback to other students about what the SRC is working on
● Motivate and inspire other students
Responsibilities of the Rivendell SRC members:
● Participate in SRC meetings
● Listen to others
● Be respectful of others’ opinions
● Try to push self out of comfort zone
● Contribute ideas and to discussions
● Be a role model for others
All students are encouraged to participate in SRC, any student can attend the meetings, all students are welcome to come and share their ideas for events and suggestions for school initiatives.

Friday 25th February - Celebrate Mardi Gras at Rivendell
Friday 4th March - Clean up Rivendell/Australia Day
Tuesday 8th March - International Women's Day
Monday 21st March - Harmony Day
Monday 4th - Friday 14th April - Youth Week
